What coverage is there for Dental in Medicare?
There is not much coverage for Medicare dental insurance. Medicare only has dental coverage under Part A (Hospital Insurance). Medicare will pay only for services needed when you’re in the hospital. It will pay if you need to have emergency or complicated procedures.
In other words, Medicare does not cover most dental including cleanings, extractions, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures, or other services.
